There's no two without three. The third edition of the Design Marathon will be held on campus on November 25th—26th, in collaboration with two prestigious international companies: Sodexo, Cisco Systems.
This time, students will be called to envision new developments and new disruptive ideas in the field of services for quality of life and cutting-edge innovative digital technologies.
With Sodexo, the space of a University campus and the everyday life experience of students will be the focus of the projects. With Cisco, students will explore new possibilities for the advanced use of the hyper-connected Cisco Sparkboard™ and other innovative technologies in the field of museum experience and job market.

Nov.6th — Nov.16th 2017
Apply online, choose a project.
Go to the online application form, indicate your top competences, submit a 3-pages pdf portfolio to prove your skills and talents, select your preferred project task from one of the Companies. Mostly important, tell us what's your favourite song.
Nov.17th — Nov.21st

There are only 100 seats available for the D-Marathon, the selection will be based on the quality of your portfolio and of your skills.
Welcome on board!
Receive the confirmation of being selected, along with the definitive project briefs.
Day 0, Get the D—Marathon Kit
and discover your Team mates.
Useful tools and gadgets. Teams will be composed of max 5 students.
Your Team mates will be assigned, with the aim of creating the proper mix of competences in each group.
Day 1, Ready steady go!
Double-check your alarm clock, don't wake up late, the D—Marathon is starting off.
Introduce your group to the Companies and to the participants. Listen to the Companies' briefs and pay attention to the target and market needs. Work no-stop until the end of the day, with the support of Project Leaders, Project Advisor and companies' representative.
Day 2, Work no–stop
Keep working no–stop from the start of the day (did anybody sleep?) with the support of Project Leaders, Project Advisor and companies' representatives.
Pitch your project
Get 3 minutes to explain your project, to catch your audience, to get the glory.
Awards and celebrations
Each of the Companies will select the best projects and choose the winners, on real time... will you be them?
the most deserved Aperitivo.
